The Life Pack PFD

The LIFEPACK is the combination life jacket backpack for going ashore. Although you don't find serious sailors wearing backpacks off shore, they do use packs for transporting goods (great for carrying groceries, materials souvenirs picked up strolling the ports) to and from the vessel on shopping trips. This is where the greatest number of accidents happen.

Close to shore, they don’t feel the need to wear the standard life jacket. To go ashore in a life jacket is not only unfashionable, but the jacket is too bulky for running errands ashore. There is also a lot of theft near shore. Sailors need a pack that could transport goods to and from the vessel while offering additional protection.

Life Pack PFD

According to the US Coast Guard, half of all boating fatalities happen close to shore, in calm water. In the majority of these cases, life jackets were on board but not worn.

LIFEPACK is convenient and inconspicuous to wear on the open water or anywhere nearby. It can worn in back or in front. In addition to its life-saving technology, it serves as an inconspicuous carrying device for personal items, and can even be used as a baby-carrier (in which case it serves as additional protection for baby).
